Junk removal in Concord and central Contra Costa
Two car garages out here hold one car at best. We clear the other side, the side yard and whatever has been sitting behind the shed.

Rainbow Junk Removal & Hauling Concord Metro is the Concord and Central Contra Costa arm of Rainbow Junk Removal & Hauling. Same truck, same crew, same phone number as the rest of the Bay Area, listed separately here so you reach the people who work this side of the bridge.
The houses through Concord, Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek were built with real garages and real side yards, which turns out to be the problem. There is room to put things off, so things get put off, and then a fifteen year pile has to come out in an afternoon. Exercise equipment, paint shelving, the kids' bikes from two kids ago, patio furniture that rusted through, boxes that have not been opened since the last move.
Outdoor items are a bigger part of the work here than anywhere else we cover. Hot tubs that stopped heating and became a planter, above ground pools, sheds that rotted at the base, play structures the children outgrew, fence panels stacked along the fence they were supposed to replace. All of it breaks down on site and goes in the truck in pieces, which is the only way a shed leaves a back yard.
Further out toward Clayton, Pittsburg and Antioch the lots get larger and so do the loads, and summer brings the yard clearing that nobody wants to do in July. We work the same way in all of it. The crew looks at what is there, you hear the price, and then it goes.

The same way it works everywhere we go. You get a range on the phone from your description, then the exact figure in person once the crew has seen the load, based on the space it takes up in the truck. Carrying, stairs, sweeping and the dump fee are already inside that number.
Turn the price down and we drive away. There is no fee for the visit.
We cannot carry
- Paint, stain, thinner and solvents
- Motor oil, antifreeze, gasoline and diesel

- Propane tanks and compressed gas cylinders
- Asbestos, and any material suspected of containing it

Your county runs a free drop-off for these. Ask us which one.
Questions about Concord
Can you take a hot tub out of the back yard?
Yes. A hot tub is cut down into sections on site, the shell and the frame go in the truck separately and the motor and heater come out for metal recycling. We need a path from the tub to the truck wide enough for a section to pass through, and if the only route is through the house we will tell you before we start.
Do you take yard waste and branches?
We do. Brush, branches, old fencing, torn out shrubs and lawn edging are all a normal load for us. Green material goes to a composting facility rather than the landfill where the site accepts it, which is most of the time around here.
